Disclaimer: It’s been in various states of relearning the factory tune, and then another tune on this tank.

The FoST is sitting at 24.1 right now. I guess that makes sense since I live 8 miles from work and make short trips too.

My overall average is just under 28, so it’s not this bad usually. I just updated my tune though, so this tank is gonna be bad too, because it’s fun.

Why’d you relearn the factory tune?

I had to take off the AP for warranty work.

That’s thinking with your dipstick

I’d kill to get that number. Just once.

It hurts, because I got 23.5 the other day in our work Ram 1500 quad cab with 2 other people and 1000lbs in the bed.

*laughs in Mitsubishi Mirage*
Except I don’t have near the fun you do with an eco boost haha

Good thinking. I’ve heard of dealers being able to check amount of key turns on the FoST to see if the tune has been messed with for warranty things. But I think that’s for more of a situation where piston 1 and the block have irreconcilable differences

Yeah, this was for the blend door, so I wasn’t worried about that. I was more worried about possible updates they might try to add.

At 55, I can break 40mpg. And at 70, I can get into the high 30’s. It can be good enough, but I just hammer it everywhere.

I’d definitely hammer it everywhere too, that’s the fun of a car like that :)
